Shane Collins is a multimedia professional living and working in the Chicagoland area.

I’m a storyteller at heart, using photography and video to craft visuals that connect, captivate, and communicate. For over 10 years, I’ve been working professionally as a photographer and videographer, specializing in portraiture, event coverage, and cinematic storytelling—whether in short form or long form, always with intention and impact in mind.

Based in Chicago, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible clients across the city and beyond. Most recently, I’ve worked with Northwestern University’s Global Marketing Department, producing content that lives across web, print, and social platforms—helping bring their stories to life through carefully crafted visuals.

From quiet, intimate portraits to fast-paced event coverage to narrative-driven video campaigns, I approach each project with a balance of creativity, strategy, and curiosity. My goal is simple: to make work that feels authentic, looks beautiful, and leaves a lasting impression.

What drives me most is a deep passion for visual storytelling—the kind that doesn’t just show, but truly says something. I bring that passion to every shoot, every frame, every edit—always striving to translate the essence of my clients’ stories into meaningful visual experiences. This isn’t just what I do; it’s what I love.
